Why CE-marking ?
The objective is to allow free distribution of goods in the European market. The CE mark will replace any national regulations, thus allowing placing products on the European market without any restrictions.
When does the CE-mark become oblicatory ?
On 01/09/2006 CE-mark becomes obligatory for :
- Float glass
- Heat-strenghtened glass
- Thermally and chemically tempered glass
On 01/03/2007 CE-mark becomes obligatory for :
- Laminated glass
- Insulating glass
- Heat soaked thermally toughened glass
